Melbourne Spring Fashion Week Designer Market

Thanks very much to everyone who came along to North Melbourne Market on Sunday! My sister and I had such a lovely day, we met some really great people, saw some very stylishly dressed customers and got to hang out with some friends who came along for a visit.

I have another North Melbourne Market coming up in a few weeks, and one I'm very excited about. Katie-Louise and I will be sharing a stall together at the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week event NMM is hosting on the 11th of September. This is quite a big deal for me, as it is going to be the first time I am going to have my very own handmade clothing for sale (previous NMM stalls I did with my sister and Sarah have been pretty crafty oriented). I have been working my bum off the last few weeks, and there is sooo much still to do, the next two weeks are going to be pretty hectic! But I am incredibly excited about it and I really hope everything will pull together on the day.

I spent the day on Saturday with Katie-Louise, sewing up a storm. Katie has already made some most beautiful velveteen garments to sell, including an amazing red velveteen dress with a giant bow on the front. I swear I am going to have a hard time not buying that one myself! You should totally check out the dresses she made recently for Audrey-Grace boutique too, they're pretty incredible.

If you are going to be in Melbourne on Sunday September 11th I hope you can stop by, it should be a really lovely, they are organising a catwalk and bands and treats galore. Come and support some local designers!
