Summer is almost here!

On Saturday I had an interview to get into a new course. (I am officially addicted to study. Only this time there won't be slaving over essays, but over the sewing machine instead!) It was very nerve racking, and I worked pretty hard on my folio. But it's out of my hands now, and afterwards I finally got to wear the dress that I made for it. I put a lot of effort into it, I will try and post some more photos later (depending if they come out as they are on actual film).

I used some sewing techniques I read about on Gertie's fantastic blog (thanks Gertie!), and I was very pleased with the results. I love learning about sewing so much, and even if I don't get in I will just keep trying to teach myself however possible. Making something with your own hands is just so very satisfying. I've loved sewing and crafting since I was a kid, and I just can't ever quite get enough!
